“Kristall” is a trademark owned by one of the oldest and largest producers of alcoholic beverages in Russia, Moscow Plant “Kristall” JSC. For many years, the company has been among the top five leaders in the domestic strong alcohol market. The assortment portfolio of own brands includes vodkas “Crystal Premium”, “Pure Crystal”, “Golden Ring”, “Old Moscow”, in addition, the plant carries out bottling on orders from other companies.
Historical reference. The foundation was laid in 1901, when the Moscow State Wine Warehouse No. 1 was built on the banks of the Yauza. In 1913, the production of five types of products was launched, including the Moscow Special vodka, the recipe of which, according to legend, was developed by D.I. Mendeleev. In the first post-revolutionary years, liqueurs were produced here, only after 1926 was the production of strong alcohol resumed. A legendary product was created at this plant – Stolichnaya vodka, which, during a “blind test” conducted in the United States, defeated its main competitor, the Smirnoff brand.
A new stage in the life of the company began in 1987: it passed into private ownership and was named “Crystal”. After the production was transferred to the facilities of the Moscow Region branch in Korystovo in 2013, Kristall practically ceased production. In 2016, after reconstruction and re-equipment, production was resumed. In 2017, it is planned to produce about 5,5-6 million decalitres of products, both own and contracted. With such indicators, the enterprise can again enter the TOP-5 of the largest Russian vodka producers. The management of the plant sees its task as returning to the market not only the Kristall brands, but first of all the brand of the plant itself with more than a century of history.

The products of Kristall OJSC were awarded the Golden National Prize for Quality, the Platinum Mark “National Glory”, and numerous prizes from authoritative industry forums.

Types of vodka Crystal
“Crystal”, 40%
The brand’s flagship vodka, highly valued by customers and market professionals. For four years in a row, the drink was awarded the Prodexpo Grand Prix. For preparation, grain alcohol “Lux” is used without flavorings and additives. Alcoholic notes are noticeable in the aroma, complemented by tones of grain and bread. The taste is tart, with a slight bitterness. As a snack, smoked meat, dumplings, pickles are suitable for a drink.
Pure Crystal, 40%
One of the most titled vodkas in the brand line: in the collection of its awards – 7 Grand Prix at the specialized exhibition “Prodexpo”, many medals of the highest dignity at the competition “Best Vodka”, international prizes. The key elements in production are the purest water, high-quality alcohol and malt concentrate. Differs in harmonious taste with the expressed tones of rye bread. Well suited to accompany dishes of Russian national cuisine: hodgepodge, herring with potatoes, pancakes with caviar.

Crystal clear vodka fully justifies its name. Produced according to classical technology. A feature of the recipe is the presence in the composition of the carbohydrate module “Alcosoft”, which prevents the occurrence of a hangover syndrome and has an alcoprotective effect. A soft drink without a strong alcoholic smell. There is a subtle sourness in the long sweetish aftertaste. It will make an excellent gastronomic pair for both hot meat dishes and cold appetizers.

A high-quality product that fully complies with the traditions of making classic Russian vodka. The advantages of the drink are confirmed by the Prodexpo Star award, the diploma of the winner of the Product of the Year award. The aroma is bright, with tones of white kalach and hearth bread. The defining characteristic of the taste is its softness. The original shape of the bottle emphasizes the feeling that the product has a long history. The label, laconic in design, corresponds to the status of an expensive premium product. Recommendations for choosing appetizers: fish soup, boiled pork, mushroom zrazy with cranberry sauce.

The harmonious taste of premium vodka is created by the components included in the composition: alcohol “Lux”, purified and softened water, natural honey, walnut infusion. The aftertaste is sweetish, voluminous, slightly astringent. The bottle is decorated in a laconic, simple style, with the use of expensive finishing elements. The drink needs an appropriate gastronomic accompaniment: traditional Russian dishes such as roasted pig and jellied sturgeon with capers will be ideally combined with it.
