Factors that cause redness and other discomfort depend on the method of hair removal.
Microtrauma
A razor, especially in combination with soap, inevitably damages the protective hydrolipidic layer of the skin. This can cause dryness, peeling and red dots.
Ingrown hair

Allergic reaction
Occurs with individual intolerance to the components of the depilatory cream or non-compliance with the instructions. Razor hurts the skin

Cream that slows down hair growth
Recently, after-depilation creams have appeared on the market, which, with regular use, promise to slow down hair growth. This mission is entrusted to components called “inhibitors”. The developers claim that these substances prevent cell division and the formation of the hair follicle, as a result of which the hair grows more slowly and becomes thinner and weaker.
Plant inhibitors include extracts, enzymes and chemical compounds. How successfully each group works is a separate question, which has not yet received scientific confirmation.
