  6. The tincture is poured into the syrup, gently stirred and poured into bottles.

Technically, any spice you like can be used in place of cloves or cardamom. However, it is important not to overdo it with their quantity, so as not to interrupt the cranberry flavor.

To make this liqueur recipe, you will need:

  • Xnumx C cranberries;
  • 1 liter of vodka or moonshine;
  • 500 grams of sugar;
  • whole cloves;
  • cardamom;
  • cinnamon stick – to taste.

Cranberry liqueur is prepared as follows:

  1. Pre-sort and wash the berries, shake off the water from them, and then knead.
  2. Pour crushed cranberries with vodka, cover with a lid and put in a dark place.
  3. Keep for a week, shaking the container daily.
  4. After the expiration date, the drink is filtered (it is better to repeat the procedure twice).
  5. The pot with liquor is put on fire, granulated sugar is added.
  6. Heat over low heat, while stirring constantly and not allowing the liquid to boil. When the sugar is completely dissolved, the pan is removed from the heat.
  7. Spices are wrapped in a gauze or cloth bag and dipped in warm liquor for 10 minutes.
  8. They take out the spices, if necessary, filter the drink again, removing the remaining pulp.

Homemade fortified cranberry liqueur

Ingredients Required:

  • cranberries – 500 g;
  • strong alcohol – 1 l;
  • sugar – 500 g;
  • spices – cardamom, cinnamon, cloves – to taste.

This recipe is prepared as follows.

  1. The cranberries are sorted and washed thoroughly, then the excess liquid is shaken off and the berries are allowed to stand for a while.
  2. Then the berries are turned into a homogeneous mixture. To do this, you can use both mechanical hand tools like a pusher, and a blender or meat grinder.
  3. Pour the crushed cranberries with alcohol, close the container with a lid, and then clean it in a dark place for 4-5 days.
  4. The liqueur is shaken daily.
  5. Filter the drink and squeeze the juice from the berry mixture.
  6. Add sugar and cook, avoiding boiling, until it is completely dissolved.
  7. Remove the liquor from the heat and dip the spices in a cloth bag for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Then the drink is allowed to cool, once again it is filtered and poured into prepared bottles.

The usual shelf life of cranberry liqueur is three years. As with brewing a drink, dark and cool places are best suited for long-term storage.
