Crab salads are very popular due to the speed of preparation and their low calorie content, although it largely depends on the rest of the ingredients of the salad. Snacks made from natural crab meat are considered delicacies. Because of their high cost, crabs are not available to everyone. But in recipes, crab meat, as a rule, can be replaced with democratic crab sticks. They are usually made from cod fillets, have a pleasant taste, do not require additional heat treatment and are combined with a huge number of products. This allows you to prepare your crab salad differently every time.
To prepare a crab salad with mushrooms, cranberries and pickles, you will need:
– 1 can of canned crabs; – 4 fresh mushrooms; – 1 pickled cucumber; – 2 eggs; – 1 celery root; – 10 kernels of walnuts; – 1 tsp cranberries; – 4 tablespoons mayonnaise.
Wipe the champignons with a napkin or towel; if necessary, peel and boil in salted water. This will take about half an hour. Then put the mushrooms in a colander so that the glass is water, and refrigerate. Then cut into thin slices or strips. Hard boil the eggs and cool in cold water. Then peel and finely chop with a knife, leaving 1/3 of the egg to garnish the crab salad. Wash the celery root thoroughly and boil in salted water until soft. Then refrigerate, peel and cut into strips.
Strain the crab meat from the juice and divide it into fibers. Fry the walnut kernels in a dry frying pan until a nutty flavor appears, or roast in the oven. After cooling, peel from dry skin and chop with a knife or in a mortar.
Cut the pickled cucumber into strips and combine all the prepared ingredients: crab meat, eggs, celery, walnuts, mushrooms, cranberries and cucumber. Season the crab salad with mayonnaise and mix well. Transfer to a salad bowl and garnish with boiled egg slices.
Serve the crab salad with mushrooms, cranberries and chilled pickles.
To prepare crab salad according to a different recipe, you will need:
– 1 can of canned crab meat; – 3-4 cucumbers (fresh or pickled); – 2 potatoes; – 2 apples; – ½ cup green peas; – ½ bunch of green onions; – 1-2 tbsp. vegetable oil; – salt.
Remove the crab meat from the liquid and divide the meat into fibers (they should resemble straws). Wash the potatoes, boil in their uniforms, cool and peel. Peel and core the apples.
Then combine finely chopped apples, potatoes, green onions, fresh or pickled cucumbers with crab meat and green peas. Season the salad with vegetable oil, salt to taste and mix thoroughly. Place in a salad bowl, garnish with the remaining cucumbers and green onions.
Delicious and nutritious Marseille salad is prepared with crab sticks and cheese-flavored croutons, which gives it a special piquancy. For him you need to take:
– 200 g of crab sticks; – 1 bag of cheese-flavored croutons; – 1 fresh cucumber; – 3-4 apples; – 2 hard-boiled eggs; – 1 can of canned corn; – 1/3 cup chopped walnut kernels; – mayonnaise.
In this salad, if desired, crab meat can be replaced with boiled shrimp. You will need 100 grams of them for salad.
Peel the apples, cut into halves, core and cut into small cubes. Cut the boiled eggs, cucumber, and crab sticks in the same way.
Add prepared eggs, crab sticks, cucumber and apples to a salad bowl, add a jar of corn, after draining the liquid, croutons and chopped walnut kernels. Mix everything well, season the crab stick salad with mayonnaise and serve immediately.
To prepare the “Favorite” salad you will need:
– 200 g of crab sticks; – 200 g of champignons; – 200 g sweet pepper; – 1 fresh cucumber; – 2 heads of onions; – 1 head of Chinese cabbage; – 1 tsp mustard (ready-made); – ¼ glasses of grape vinegar; – 1/3 cup vegetable oil; – ¼ tsp salt; – ¼ tsp ground black pepper; – ½ tsp Sahara; – parsley.
Mushrooms (it is better to take champignons) wipe with a damp cloth or paper towel, peel if necessary, cut into strips and lightly fry in sunflower oil along with peeled and finely chopped onions.

Add the bell peppers, chopped into strips, and, stirring occasionally, sauté everything together until the peppers are tender. Cool it down. Add pre-chopped Chinese cabbage, fresh cucumber and crab sticks.
Prepare the sauce for dressing. Combine the washed and finely chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, sugar, mustard, leftover sunflower oil, and grape vinegar. Season the salad with crab sticks with this sauce and stir.
To make a Fancy salad from crab sticks or chips, you will need:
– 1 pack of crab sticks (or crab chips); – 1 can of corn; – 1 onion; – 1 fresh or pickled cucumber; – 100-150 g of boiled sausage; – 1-2 pieces of boiled potatoes; – mayonnaise; – salt.
Cut sausage, crab sticks, fresh or pickled cucumber and peeled potatoes into small cubes. If the salad is made with crab chips, break them up. Peel the onion and chop finely. Combine sausage, cucumber, potatoes and onions. Add corn and mix well. Then season with mayonnaise and salt if necessary.
