  • 100-120 milliliters of dry white wine.

Pour the washed, dried berries into boiling water, turn the fire to a minimum (it is better to put a special diffuser under the container). Boil for five minutes, add the mixed cinnamon and powdered sugar, mix thoroughly, and boil for another fifteen minutes. Pour the lingonberry-sugar mixture into a blender and chop, grind the puree through a fine sated to get rid of lumps. Pour the grated puree into a container, add wine and put on a small fire, bring to a boil, then add a mixture of starch with six tablespoons of cold water to the boiled puree (starch is poured in a thin stream, stirring actively). Remove from heat and leave to cool for half an hour to an hour. It is important, after adding starch to the lingonberry sauce, not to bring it to a boil, otherwise it will turn out not a sauce, but a berry jelly – and this is a completely different dish with different properties.

The sauce according to this recipe is good for use within two weeks (store in the refrigerator).

To prepare the sauce for the winter, there is another recipe. To prepare the preparation of the sauce for the winter, you must:

  • two hundred grams of cranberries;
  • two tablespoons of sugar;
  • 0.5 teaspoon of chopped suneli hops;
  • two cloves;
  • Two juniper berries;
  • one medium sized chili pepper;
  • a pinch of salt to taste;
  • on the tip of a knife, black pepper (or a mixture of peppers);
  • 0.5 glass of balsamic vinegar.

To prepare, you must perform the following steps: Rinse the lingonberries as thoroughly as possible and dry with a paper towel. Pour clean and dry berries with sugar, beat with a blender. Pour the crushed berry-sugar mixture into a saucepan with a thick bottom, and put on a minimum fire. Cook, stirring occasionally for ten minutes. Remove from heat, cool.
