A rapid serological test before the first injection
The decree specifies that before the first injection, a rapid diagnostic orientation test (TROD) can be carried out, in particular for “ people who have not already tested positive in the year before the injection “. The purpose of this practice is to prevent the patient from administering the second dose, which a new person may benefit from for their first injection. As a reminder, those who have contracted Covid-19 receive a single dose of vaccine. Thus, people who have been infected without knowing it will have complete vaccination coverage thanks to a dose of serum. The serological test can detect the presence of antibodies in the blood. It is performed by taking a drop of blood from the fingertip and reveals a past infection in an asymptomatic person.
