COVID-19 symptoms with the Delta variant

The fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Poland has been going on for several weeks, the number of infections is growing, it has already approached 800 new cases a day. The Delta variant dominates in our country (according to the GISAID database, it is responsible for 99,4% of cases). The symptoms of infection with this strain are slightly different from, for example, the symptoms of infection with the Alpha variant, but nevertheless many symptoms remain unchanged.

The most common symptoms of COVID-19 infection today are primarily headache, sore throat, runny nose, elevated temperature and persistent cough.
