And you won’t believe whose flag came first in this ranking!
On vacation, getting sick is always a shame. Especially if it is a trip abroad. But children, unfortunately, do not choose: rest or not, Russia or another country. Ill – and that’s it.
It would seem that no one is protected from the disease, you can pick up the virus anytime, anywhere. But, as it turned out, this unpleasant moment has its own leaders.
So, over the past two years, children most often suffered from Bulgaria… Such data are provided by analysts of AlfaStrakhovanie based on the number of parents’ appeals to the insurance company for medical care for their children. This country accounts for almost a third of all applications – 29,55%. And mainly schoolchildren are sick – from 8 to 17 years old.
In second place was Turkey… And evaluate the gap: only every tenth appeal came from here. And more often crumbs get sick – up to three years.
It can be assumed that they go to children’s camps, sports and creative teams to Bulgaria, and Turkey is chosen for the first children’s and family holidays. Therefore, such indicators.
On the third place Spain – 9,73%. Analysts note that in recent years the situation in this country has improved – back in 2016, it occupied the second line. Preschool children are ill here.
Next Cyprus – slightly more than 6% of requests. People often come here with older children than with babies. Therefore, complaints come mainly from parents of children from 4 to 7 years old. And in fifth place – Thailand (5,73%). Parents love this country as a summer vacation and choose it for wintering with kids. And most often crumbs up to three years old get sick here.
Further descending – Greece, Montenegro, UAE, Italy и Germany… By the way, if Russia were included in this rating, it would be in the penultimate place – between Italy and Germany. Our country accounts for 2,38% of requests. Perhaps local vacationers do not have allergic reactions and digestive disorders caused by changing water and an abundance of unusual food. But rather also because they do not make themselves insurance for the time of rest at home, which means that they simply are not in the statistics.
What are they sick with?
Do you think stomach flu and other intestinal disorders are the leaders? Surprisingly, no. More than half of the visits in the last two years have been accounted for by respiratory diseases – bronchitis, acute respiratory viral infections, tracheitis, laryngitis and others like them. Most of the patients are babies under three years old.
But diseases of the digestive system and injuries take the second and third places, respectively. Here, schoolchildren are most often affected – the most flirty and restless people.
Water got into the ear or blew out with air conditioner – and now the child has otitis media. Hearing inflammation is in fourth place in our anti-rating. And dirty hands, with which children rub their eyes, bring “honorable” fifth place to ophthalmological diseases.
