Danila Lupin recalled a case when a patient had an embolism of the facial artery (a sudden blockage with blood clots followed by a disruption of the local blood supply). The culprit turned out to be a poor-quality “beauty shot” made not from hyaluronic acid. I had to go to the operating table on the third day to remove the drug in the operating room.
“Often there are complications after thread tightening: violation of facial expressions and contour of the face, migration of threads. However, plastic surgery is usually not needed to correct such errors. In extreme cases, if you cannot do without it, the threads are removed and antibiotics are prescribed, ”comments Danila Lupin.
Not only injections can harm our beauty, but also the misuse of asepsis and antiseptics when performing cosmetic procedures. Because of this, inflammation of the soft tissues, abscess, phlegmon can occur. Which also becomes the reason for the surgical intervention.

The entire volume of fillers before the operation will need to be dissolved by injection. A week after we have dissolved the gel, we can take the patient for an aesthetic operation, ”Georgy continues.
