Cosmetics from the refrigerator: recipes for lifting eyelids

The drooping eyelids make the face look older. To prevent this trouble, you need to include in the menu such products that will make the skin around the eyes more elastic and hydrated. 

The skin of the eyelid is very thin and first loses its elasticity, becoming covered with wrinkles. The environment and toxins damage the skin, so antioxidant foods are a priority. Add them to your diet or prepare these types of natural masks based on them.

  • Apple + honey

This mask is a powerful antioxidant and, thanks to its rich vitamin composition and high amount of moisture, will help to give the skin of the eyelids elasticity. To prepare it, you will need 1 apple and 2 tablespoons of honey.

 

Grind the peeled apple with a blender until puree, mix with honey. Apply the mask to the eyelids for half an hour, rinse with cold water. The mask should be applied three times a week.

  • Figs + lemon

This mask contains not only antioxidants, but also many minerals that will make the skin of the eyelids more elastic by reducing the loss of elastin and collagen. Take 3 figs and a teaspoon of lemon juice.

Grate the washed figs into a thick paste and add lemon juice. Apply the mask to the skin of the eyelids and entire face, and after half an hour, rinse with warm water. Be careful not to get the mask in your eyes. This mask is also designed to be applied 3 times a week.

  • Oatmeal + honey + eggs

Oatmeal mask contains vitamins, minerals and amino acids that will prevent premature sagging of delicate eyelid skin and rejuvenate it. You will need a tablespoon of oatmeal, 2 tablespoons of honey, and an egg yolk.

Mix all the ingredients until a homogeneous consistency and apply the mask on the eyelids as well as all over the face. After 30 minutes, wash off with cold water. It is enough to apply the mask twice a week to notice the effect.

  • Aloe Vera + Avocado Oil 

This combination will moisturize the skin and prevent the appearance of a network of early wrinkles. Fatty acids, which the mask is rich in, will give elasticity and firmness. Take 3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, 2 tablespoons of avocado oil.

Mix both ingredients thoroughly to prevent the oils from stratifying. Apply the mask to your eyelids for half an hour, then rinse with cold water. If you repeat the procedure 3 times a week, you will not need additional cosmetics.

  • Chamomile + cucumber

This mask will prove to be anti-inflammatory and restorative. In addition to the problem of sagging eyelids, chamomile and cucumber will help to get rid of bags and puffiness under the eyes. You will need 2 tablespoons of chamomile flowers, a glass of water, and half a cucumber.

Pour chamomile flowers with a glass of boiling water and let it brew until it cools completely. Strain the infusion and beat with a blender along with the cucumber. The finished mask should be cooled for 2 hours in the refrigerator and only then applied to the area around the eyes. After half an hour, wash off the mask with cold water. The mask should be used daily in the morning and in the evening.
