Corsodyl contains the active substance chlorhexidine with disinfecting, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is used to treat topical inflammation of the mouth and throat mucosa. Corsodyl shows relatively long action antiseptic that lasts for hours. It is recommended by doctors as a daily oral care agent, helping to fight microbes. Corsodyl prevents gingivitis caused by tartar and periodontal disease. What’s more, it helps to fight limescale and maintain oral hygiene in the case of people with crowns, orthodontic appliances, dental implants, and prone to cavities.

Contraindications to the use of Corsodyl

- pain, swelling, mouth irritation,
- swelling, difficulty breathing

Corsodyl dosage
Corsodyl it is a fluid that should be used as directed. Increasing doses does not improve the effectiveness of the drug.
Adults and children up to 12 years of age should rinse their mouths with 10 ml of fluid for 1 minute, twice a day.
If the patient has had denture inflammation, apart from rinsing the mouth, the denture should be immersed in the preparation for 15 minutes, twice a day.
If the patient is not explicitly recommended by the doctor, Corsodylus should not be used in children under 12 years of age and for no longer than 4 weeks.
The preparation should not be applied immediately after brushing the teeth, because the ingredients of the toothpastes react incorrectly with the ingredients of the drug.
