Declining health indicators
Gradual deconfinement began on May 3 in France. It continues, because from May 19, the next stage begins. Indeed, the curfew will start later, at 21 p.m. against 19 p.m. currently. Also, a multitude of establishments closed until then, will finally reopen. Restaurants, cafes or even cinemas will be able to welcome the public in two days, as detailed by Emmanuel Macron, when he announced his strategy of deconfinement. A plan hailed by the government spokesperson, Gabriel Attal on RTL, since according to him, “ Today, the signals are green and it shows that the President of the Republic was right in his calendar ».
Indeed, according to the Directorate General of Health, in 7 days, all health indicators are down. The average number of daily confirmed cases is down -26,4%, as is the incidence rate (-26,3%), the average number of new hospitalizations per day (-30,8%) and the number average of new daily critical care admissions (-32,2%). The bed occupancy rate is 84,12%, with a decrease of 14,4% in seven days.
More than 20 million French people vaccinated
This is not the only good news concerning the coronavirus epidemic in France, because the country has passed the milestone of 20 million people who have received at least one dose of vaccine. Indeed, according to the Ministry of Health, 20 first injections have been carried out since the start of the campaign, which represents more than 298% of the population. In addition, 318 people received two injections of the Covid-30 vaccine, or 8% of the population. By mid-June, the government aims to have injected at least one dose of serum to 827 million French people.
