Due to the spreading coronavirus epidemic, many dental offices are closed. Where can you go in urgent cases? The Polish Dental Society has created a nationwide map of facilities that now admit patients.
The problem of many dental offices in Poland is to ensure safety in the face of an epidemic, both for patients and doctors. For this reason, many institutions have reduced admissions, and some have been closed.
So where can you go if you have a toothache? The Polish Dental Society (PTS) has provided patients with a map where they can find the nearest open surgery.
The idea of creating an interactive map came from the dentist Olga Sowińska and the dental technician Rafał Szymelfejnik. PTS decided to support the project to help all patients who are looking for urgent help.
You can find a map of active dental offices HERE
How to use the map:
- The map was developed based on the applications of the practice owners. It is not a map of recommended facilities. The organizers of the project do not take responsibility for whether the facility will admit the patient, quality of services or prices.
- Before visiting the clinic, it is MANDATORY to confirm this fact by phone or e-mail. Data for offices are available on the map.
- The map is being updated. Soon, a form will be launched on the PTS website for private office owners who want to place their facility on the map.
More information about the work of dental facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic can be found on the website of the Polish Dental Society.
