From mid-September, a significant increase in coronavirus infections requiring hospitalization has been noted. As a result, health centers are running out of beds and respirators. The Silesian Voivodeship has 4,5 million inhabitants, and there are 368 people per square km, which makes it so the area with the highest population density. On October 17, 396 new cases were announced in the Świętokrzyskie Province. The following days also brought several hundred new cases of COVID-19. The threshold of 600 cases per day was also exceeded.

Coronavirus Province Warmia and Mazury – current infection statistics

In the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship, one person infected with the coronavirus occurs on average per six square kilometers with a total area of ​​24 173 square kilometers. In comparison with other voivodships, the population density is lower, 59 people per square kilometer with a total population of 1,4 million There are five infectious wards in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship:

There are 27 mobile drive-thru swab collection points in Warmia and Mazury. Most of them are located in Olsztyn (5). The others are located, among others in: Ełk, Lidzbark Warmiński, Olecko, Pisz or Szczytno.

The first case of the COVID-19 coronavirus was confirmed on March 6, 2020. The number has increased significantly since then. On the infection map, most cases are recorded in the following poviats: Iława, Olsztyn, Ostróda and Działdowski.

Coronavirus Wielkopolska – current infection statistics

The Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, with its capital in Poznań, is inhabited by 3,49 million people, and its population density is 117 inhabitants per square kilometer. Average calculations show that there is one person infected with coronavirus per 1 square kilometer of the voivodeship. There are five infectious diseases hospitals in Wielkopolska (three of them in Poznań):

In the Wielkopolskie voivodeship, the first case of the coronavirus was confirmed on March 9, 2020. According to statistics, the daily number of infections from March to September only exceeded 100 several times. Since the beginning of October, a rapid increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. On October 17, the number of new cases of coronavirus was 1058. Until then, the highest number of recoveries (377) was recorded on September 5, and deaths (13) – on October 14.

Coronavirus Province Zachodniopomorskie – current infection statistics

In the Zachodniopomorskie Province, which has a population of 1,7 million people with a population density of 74 people / sq km, there is one person infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus per 2 sq km. :

Currently, 20 smear collection points are registered in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Two are located in Szczecin and Koszalin, and one in each poviat city. The hours of patients’ admissions have been adjusted so that they can be admitted not only in the morning but also in the afternoon.

The first three cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded on March 12, 2020. Initially, the daily number of cases did not exceed 10 people. A definite increase can be seen in mid-September. Most cases of coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Szczecin.

In the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, it is worth paying attention to the statistics on people under quarantine or epidemiological supervision, because on June 22 there were 613 such people, and on June 24 as many as 2373. Since the beginning of October this number has increased significantly (a similar situation is also in other voivodships).
