– Worries that the coronavirus unfortunately causes many people to end up in hospitals; this is definitely a different course (disease) than in spring. More people go to hospital treatment, but more and more people go to intensive care units because they require treatment with a respirator. This is very disturbing, said Deputy Minister Kraska in Polsat News.

He stressed that appeals for compliance with the sanitary regime, including the so-called DDM principles – distance, disinfection, masks, are still valid. “If we don’t, the system will be very overloaded,” he warned.
He recalled that – as announced by the Ministry of Health – This week, further modifications to the fall strategy to combat the epidemic are to be introduced. He stressed that “it will not be a cosmetic change, but a definite change that will not only increase the bed and ventilator base, but also change the management of the medical staff in an appropriate manner”.
– Coordination of patient flow at the voivodeship level, equipment flow, and medical service flow will also be new – said Kraska.
– We want to coordinate at the level of each province so that every doctor who has a patient with coronavirus can call the appropriate center, where he will receive information on where the patient is to go, what to do with him. It is about admission and emergency room doctors, but also family doctors, explained the deputy minister.
