Background of events: Due to the decreasing number of cases of COVID-19, and at the same time the growing number of vaccinations performed, the government has decided to present plans to ease the restrictions for this year’s vacation. This was announced by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Health Minister Adam Niedzielski during a press conference organized on June 10, 2021. They emphasized, however, that you still need to be careful (cover your nose and mouth in closed rooms, keep social distance or disinfect your hands), because the pandemic is still underway. is not finished and the virus is still dangerous?

From when will the next restrictions for the holiday of 2021 be relaxed? Subsequent restrictions will be loosened from 13 and then 26 June 2021.

What restrictions will be loosened from June 13, 2021?

  1. Permission to sell and consume food and drink in cinemas, theaters, concerts, and other cultural institutions,
  2. Religious sites – 50% maximum occupancy – does not apply to people who are fully offended against COVID-19.

What restrictions will be loosened from June 26, 2021?

  1. Gyms, fitness clubs, libraries, fairs, commercial facilities, playrooms, conferences – 1 person per 10m2,
  2. Religious sites – max. 75% occupancy,
  3. Discos – max. 150 people,
  4. Outdoor events – max. 150 people,
  5. Transport — 100% obłożenia,
  6. Cinemas, theaters, funfairs, restaurants – max. 75% occupancy,
  7. Hotels – max. 75% occupancy, the limit does not include organized groups of children and children under 12 years of age,

Coronavirus COVID-19 – acceleration of the easing of restrictions [May 12.05.2021, XNUMX]

Background of events: The decrease in the number of people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus, as well as the acceleration of universal vaccination, caused the government to change its plans to ease further restrictions. At a press conference organized on May 12, 2021, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced that he would accelerate the lifting of subsequent bans. They mainly concern the entertainment area. The new schedule for loosening the restrictions is as follows:

Loosening the restrictions from May 15, 2021:

  1. Removal of the obligation to cover the mouth and nose in the open air,
  2. Collective transport – 100% of occupied seats or 50% of all seats,
  3. outdoor gastronomy – opening of gardens,
  4. Culture – cinemas, film screenings, theaters, operas may be open in the open air with a 50% occupancy rate,
  5. Cultural homes and centers, community centers, and cultural institutions may conduct outdoor activities in accordance with the rules of the sanitary regime,

Loosening the restrictions from May 21, 2021:

  1. Culture – cinemas, film screenings, theaters, philharmonics – events may be attended by up to 50% of people; ban on drinking and eating in facilities,
  2. The resumption of activities in rooms in houses and cultural centers, community centers and cultural institutions in accordance with the rules of the sanitary regime,
  3. Restoration of amusement parks with 50% occupancy.

Loosening the restrictions from May 28, 2021:

  1. Internal gastronomy – max. 50% occupancy; at least 1,5 m distance between the tables,
  2. Special events (communions, weddings) – max. 50 people. People who are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 coronavirus are not counted towards the limit,
  3. Sports – indoor swimming pools and sports facilities open to all; 50% of occupancy in the facility (also applicable to the public),
  4. Sport – outdoor activities and events – up to 250 people,
  5. Gyms, fitness clubs, solariums – 1 person on 15m2.

Loosening the restrictions from May 29, 2021:

  1. Education – full-time learning for all students

Background of events: The decreasing number of people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus meant that it was decided to loosen some of the restrictions in Poland. This was reported by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski who were present at the press conference organized on April 28, 2021. Restrictions will be lifted gradually. Below is a detailed list of all loosened restrictions along with their implementation dates.

Loosening the restrictions from May 1, 2021:

  1. Hotels – open to guests (max. 50% occupancy)

Loosening the restrictions from May 15, 2021:

  1. Removal of the obligation to cover the nose and mouth in the open air, if the infection rate drops to 15 per 100 people,
  2. Gastronomy – opening of restaurant gardens,
  3. Culture – opening of cinemas and open-air theaters (max. 50% occupancy of the facility),
  4. Occasional events – the possibility of organizing communion and weddings outdoors (limit of 25 people),

Background of events: Due to the lower number of infections with the COVID-19 coronavirus in individual regions of Poland, it was decided to partially lift the restrictions in 11 provinces. The current restrictions will apply in five voivodships, where a high number of cases is still recorded. For this reason, during a conference organized on April 14, 2021, Health Minister Adam Niedzielski announced that the restrictions would be extended throughout the country. At the same time, he stressed that in some sectors the restrictions would be loosened.

Until when will the current restrictions applicable throughout the country apply? The restrictions will apply until April 25, 2021.

In which sectors will the restrictions be loosened?

  1. Kindergartens and nurseries will be open from April 19, 2021.
  2. Restoration of amateur outdoor sports from April 19, 2021.

The government has decided that hotels and accommodation facilities will be closed until May 3, 2021 inclusive. The exceptions are workers’ hotels and accommodation provided as part of some business trips.

Background of events: Due to the high daily increase in people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus, Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski, in consultation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki and the Government Crisis Management Team, decided to introduce restrictions throughout the country. The same ones that have been in force so far in 4 voivodships: Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Pomorskie, Lubuskie and Mazowieckie.

Coronavirus COVID-19 – changes in restrictions [11.03.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX]

Background of events: Due to the high daily increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus, which proves the acceleration of the third wave of the pandemic in Poland, the Ministry of Health decided to introduce changes in the restrictions, especially in in the Pomorskie, Mazowieckie and Lubuskie voivodships. Until now, the restrictions were in force only in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship, where the daily increase in infections is the highest. There have also been changes in the restrictions affecting the whole of Poland.

During the press conference, the Minister of Health, Adam Niedzielski, spoke about the new rules for covering the nose and mouth in public space.

From February 27, 2021, it will not be possible to cover the mouth and nose only with a visor or a scarf, a scarf or a scarf. They do not meet the safety criterion and do not protect against COVID-19 infection. Only face masks may be worn in public spaces.

A certain number of people will be able to enter individual stores (depending on the size of its area).
