Now in Russia there are two drugs: “Sputnik V” and “EpiVacCorona”. But the Department of Defense is working on a draft of a new vaccine, in the form of chewable tablets or marshmallows – this is a mucosal vaccine against COVID-19.
Combining the available form of application with the beneficial properties of the drug will provide a positive effect in the fight against the spread of a new coronavirus infection, ”RIA Novosti reports.
At the moment, the trials of the new vaccine have not yet been completed, so it cannot be registered and applied for widespread use. But as soon as the tests are completed, the drug will be included in various regimens for the treatment and prevention of coronavirus infection.
