Corner kitchen sets for the kitchen

Choosing a kitchen is not an easy task, and therefore many of us stop at the simplest stage – the planning solution and the design of the facades. But the meticulous Germans have already calculated that it can take up to 20 percent of the time daily for housewives to find the necessary items. In order not to become a “slave” of the kitchen, even at the stage of buying kitchen furniture, think over what will be inside it.

Corner kitchen sets for the kitchen

Dryer: stainless steel mesh shelves

A traditional kitchen accessory is a dish drainer. They differ in size, materials and installation method. Cheap products painted with a powder method quickly deteriorate, so experts recommend stainless steel. Corner dryers have been specially developed for corner cabinets: in order to reach the far corner, swivel mechanisms are used.

Metal mesh shelves are replacing traditional chipboard shelves. You can not only put dishes and supplies on them, but also hang holders for glasses, mugs and other household items on hooks.

Lower modules: drawers and baskets

В modern kitchen the main load falls on the modules of the lower floor. Here, too, its own fashion can be traced. Drawers have replaced deep cabinets with shelves. The wide and deep horizontal drawers are equipped with a high-tech pull-out mechanism, so they can be pulled out completely and easily. But it is also not worth giving up the traditional cabinet, you just need to equip it with pull-out baskets (cargo). With a small width, they efficiently use the entire depth of the cabinet. The designs themselves can be different: from mesh trays to complex pull-out systems. They are recommended to equip hard-to-reach places, which makes it possible to use not all sections, but only the necessary ones.

Corner section: “carousel” or “magic corner”

In almost all modern kitchens, the corner is used very rationally. Previously, a single linear kitchen model wasted a lot of precious kitchen space. Now our kitchens use not only corner cabinets, but also corner elements of internal filling. Often called a “carousel”, these shelves rotate 360 degrees and allow you to place items in hard-to-reach places. In addition to the rotating structure, there is also a “magic corner”. The design, where the front part extends and retracts to the side, clearing the way for the far shelves to exit – this mechanism provides access to the cabinet up to 115 cm.

Under the sink: built-in waste bin

The next area requiring close attention is in the area wash… You can organize it in different ways. In the headsets of European manufacturers, in addition to special shelves for storing cleaning products, there are several garbage containers under the sink at once for sorting waste. In domestic headsets, a trash bin is provided, mounted on the cabinet door, when it is opened, the lid remains in place, and the bucket moves forward. Sometimes the buckets are attached to the bottom of the base and leave at the same time as the door is opened.

Even the best quality plumbing can sometimes leak, which will negatively affect the furniture. To avoid problems, the bottom of the cabinet under the sink is finished with stainless steel sheet, which significantly increases the life of the kitchen furniture.

Useful little things

In addition to the already familiar solutions to the interior space, today designers pay special attention to such details as:

  • included headset jars and storage containersthat are hung or located in boxes with special delimiters;
  • space organizers, dividing boxes into niches for certain items;
  • systems for storing dishes,
  • roll holders,
  • additional countertopsthat slide out to organize a work area or a small breakfast table,
  • a pull-out towel holder designed for those who don’t like to hang embroidered towels all over the kitchen. He hides in the opening between the kitchen cabinets and drives out when the door is opened.

Of course, all these conveniences are justified, the only “but” is their cost. As a rule, the cost of the “filling” is from 10 to 15% of the total cost of the headset, which makes many people prefer traditional shelves rather than modern options. But if you imagine how much effort and time they save, you will inevitably think: is it worth saving on convenience and functionality?
