Corega

The Corega trademark belongs to the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline, in fact, being its property. The goods produced by this brand enjoy a certain popularity in the world in a limited circle of people, namely among those who use dentures.

The history of the emergence and formation of the brand

GlaxoSmithKline plc, or GlaxoSmithKline, is one of the most popular pharmaceutical companies in the world, based in the UK. It was formed in 2000 when two corporations merged – SmithKline Beecham and Glaxo Wellcome. These same companies, in turn, have a longer history, dating back to the 20s of the 18th century, with the opening of a small pharmacy shop Plow Court in London. Later, the business evolved from a family business to a larger production. At the end of the 19th century, the first factories and new pharmacies were opened, and the company received registration under the name Allen & Hanburys Ltd.

John K Smith & Co was formed in Philadelphia in 1841, and Beecham’s Pills in London in 1842. By 1875, after a series of mergers and acquisitions, the corporation was named first Mahlon K Smith & Company, and somewhat later Smith, Kline & Company. Gradually buying up new brands (Macleans, Eno’s Propretiaries Ltd, Diversitied Pharmaceutical Services Inc, Allergan, International Clinical Laboratories Inc), thereby expanding its influence in the medical products market, by the end of the 20th century, the giant under the current name SmithKline Beecham became the third in world, and the first company in Europe in terms of production of medicines.

Glaxo Wellcome, in turn, appeared a little later – in 1873, its “progenitor”, Joseph Nathan and Co, was formed in New Zealand, which later became the basis of Glaxo. At that time, the company was engaged in the production of milk powder in its own factory. In 1880, Burroughs Wellcome & Company appeared – its activities were aimed at conquering the American drug market. Further, the company registers the Tabloid trademark, which produces cough tablets for the American market. Later, in the early 20th century, Joseph Nathan and Co trademarked Glaxo as a manufacturer of milk powder. By the middle of the century, Glaxo is transformed into Glaxo Laboratories Ltd, and absorbs Joseph Nathan and Co. Starting in 1978, Glaxo Laboratories Ltd became an independent business, and in 1995 it merged with Wellcome. In five years, Glaxo Wellcome will co-found GlaxoSmithKline, one of the pharmaceutical giants of the modern world.

The activities of the company are, first of all, pharmaceuticals and medicines. In addition, GlaxoSmithKline produces body care products and is also engaged in microbiological research.

Since the early 2000s, the world has seen the emergence of a new brand – Corega, which quickly won the trust of customers. Super Corega products are registered as a separate trademark.

Assortment: what products does the company offer
