The negative impact of «morally unstable» TV programs is somewhat exaggerated — this was confirmed by Norwegian psychologists Steven Thomsen and Dag Rekve. They published the results of a year-long study that looked at the impact of American TV programs on adolescents’ attitudes towards alcohol. It was attended by high school students who had never tried alcohol. It turned out that music videos and reports about youth parties are just one of many sources of information for those who do not have drinking friends in the company, and do not necessarily lead to a desire to try alcohol. The main factor on which the use of alcohol by a teenager really depends is his relationship in the family.
