“Cookbook of Petrovich” A. Bilzho

Perhaps someone will use the recipes given in the book to cook dumplings with cherries called “Petrovich’s First Love” or, say, cabbage rolls “Fly, pigeons, fly.” But contrary to the name, this is not a cookbook. This is an artifact. From the hands of the artist Andrey Bilzho, the author of the famous commercial character Petrovich and the style of the Petrovich club-restaurant, came out a kind of non-anniversary ode to the club, which turned 17 this year. The ode is not solemn, but juvenile and cocky, to match the birthday man – with ironic verses by Igor Irtenyev, obscene verses by Orlusha (Andrey Orlov), with naive drawings by the author himself. Everything is delicious and homemade. As in Petrovich.
