The multicooker is a useful assistant for the housewife

The average weight of the unit is only 4 kg, which makes it easy to transport the “smart pan” even without a car. At the same time, you can choose the volume of the bowl for cooking to suit your needs: the size of the container varies from 2-3 to 5 liters.
The multicooker helps to cook amazingly healthy food, retains all vitamins and rich taste. Your task will only be to lay down the products required by the recipe, press a few buttons to select a program and go about your business. You will hear a beep when the machine has prepared a dish. Don’t worry if you can’t turn off the multicooker right away: nothing will burn or break down.

The airfryer differs significantly from the multicooker in both size and main purpose. The weight of the device fluctuates in the region of 6-10 kg, and the volume of the bowl can reach 15-20 liters. The main part of the airfryer is the lid. It is in it that the heating element is located, which roasts the food until it is crispy.
The airfryer is mainly designed for cooking seafood, meat and poultry dishes. The grates have two levels: low and high. By varying them, you can get food of different degrees of roast.
The airfryer will ideally fit into a family where they love well-fried meat dishes with a crispy crust. In this case, the device can easily replace the usual oven: the food will be cooked without your supervision, intervention and excess oil. All you need to do is prepare them first: pickle, grate with spices, place on the wire rack and set a timer.
Multicooker or airfryer
Choosing between a multicooker and an airfryer is not easy. In this case, you need to build on your own and family food preferences. For example, if you follow your figure, prefer boiled and stewed to fried – feel free to purchase a slow cooker. However, if you are a lover of a rich meaty taste, crispy chicken and homemade barbecue, the airfryer will give you more joy.
When choosing, consider some of the features of the “helpers”. For example, a multicooker cooks at very low temperatures to preserve vitamins and flavor. Therefore, a lot of time (and electricity) is wasted. It can take about an hour to prepare breakfast porridge.
An important disadvantage of the airfryer is the size of the device. It is bulky, heavy and takes up a lot of space. You will have to allocate an entire shelf or drawer for it. Also, a problem can arise when cleaning: a large bowl will not fit in a small sink.
