How to congratulate on Sagaalgan
An indispensable component of the holiday is going to visit. Initially, close relatives are visited, then friends and distant relatives. During visits, it is customary to give a national dish – bortsok, made from rich dough and fried in boiling oil. The form of baking is symbolic.
For example:
- animal – the wish for the offspring of the corresponding livestock;
- sun – endless life;
- occasion – good luck and happiness;
- many small balls – the birth of children.
It is not customary to make expensive gifts; attention is much more important. If desired, women can be given a scarf, a piece of cloth or tea, children are given sweets, and men – tobacco.
The well-being of the year depends on how attentive you are to your loved ones. The more care and good wishes, the happier the coming year will be.
