How to congratulate on Radonitsa
Radonitsa is a day of commemoration of the dead. The Church recommends refraining from noisy celebrations. On this day, the All-Night Vigil is held, where believers pray for the dead, wishing them peace and the kingdom of heaven.
According to tradition, on the day of Radonitsa they wish long life and eternal memory of the departed. There is no need to grieve for them, because loved ones are in a better world, protecting us and instructing us in good deeds.
On this day, it is customary to visit the graves of relatives and friends, as well as to give alms to those in need.
