Congenital nodular changes in the neck are the remains of ducts or tissues involved in the construction of organs during the developmental period.

These changes appear as soft, smooth and mobile subcutaneous structures located in the midline of the neck above the larynx or on one side of the neck along the sternocleidomastoid muscle.

There are also lumps in the neck called benign (benign) tumors. These are hemangiomas of various types, mixed tumors associated with the salivary glands – parotid and submandibular. Their treatment is usually operative.

The appearance of any formations on the neck requires thorough research in specialist clinics.
