Calculation of surface area
Instructions for use: enter the known values, then press the button “Calculate”. As a result, the area will be calculated taking into account the specified data.
Note: base radius is used in calculations. If the diameter of the figure is initially known, it should be divided by 2 (R=d/2).
Calculation formulas
Base:
Smain = π ⋅ R2
Side surface:
Sside = π ⋅ R ⋅ l
Full surface:
Sfull = Smain + Sside = π ⋅ R ⋅ (R + l)
