Condyline – indications for the use of the drug

The indication for the use of Condyline is the diagnosis of the patient’s genital warts. Treatment with Condyline can be used in both women and men. Unfortunately, not every patient can use Condyline, even if there are indications for its use.

Condyline – contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this preparation is a contraindication to the use of Condyline. Moreover, it cannot be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women. Condyline must also not be taken with other preparations containing podophyllotoxin. The drug must not be used on large areas of the skin or mucous membranes.

Worth knowing

When using Condyline, remember to properly protect the places in the immediate vicinity of the lesions with cream or petroleum jelly.

Condyline – correct dosage

Condyline should be used according to the instructions of the doctor who prescribes the treatment with this preparation. The drug is intended for topical use only. It is applied to the nipples with the applicator included in the package. The applied preparation is allowed to dry completely.

Condyline should be used twice a day for 2 consecutive days. Treatment can be repeated weekly if your doctor recommends it. However, the total duration of Condyline use should not exceed 3 weeks.

Side effects when using Condyline

Like other medicines, Condyline may cause side effects. Most often, patients indicated erythema, pain and superficial ulceration. Side effects of using the drug are also: swelling, inflammation of the glans and foreskin. It is worth mentioning that side effects do not occur in all patients using Condyline.
