Public reaction

The victory of the shocking lady blew up the Internet, social networks were filled with indignation, irritation and anger.

What insults were sent to the winner: “Fagots rule the world”, “Where are we going?”, “Fu, what disgusting”, “Freak won a victory”, “Burn this filth with a hot iron!”, “I want to tear it apart into pieces and throw them into the fire! ”

Thomas Neurwit: biography

Thomas was born in 1988 in the city of Gmunden (Austria). The 18-year-old took part in the Austrian casting show for aspiring pop singers Starmania, in which he took second place.

In 2007, he became a member of a short-lived boy band (a vocal pop group made up of handsome boys and aimed at teenage girls). In 2011 he graduated from the fashion school in Graz.

Conchita Wurst is a stage character (remember Andrey Danilko and his Verka Serduchka). This idea came to Neuwirth due to the fact that he faced discrimination and bullying as a teenager.

Conchita Wurst: Eurovision and interesting facts

Thomas Neuwirth

Conchita Wurst is an image of protest, he became a statement in defense of tolerance and acceptance. He created this image as a vivid expression. As a catalyst for discussions about such concepts as “otherness” and “normality”, as a way to convey your message to the whole world so that it is impossible not to see or hear it.

After all, appearance, gender and origin do not matter when it comes to the dignity and freedom of the individual.

Thomas: “Only the person is important. Everyone should have the right to live as he sees fit, if it does not harm anyone. ”

The singer himself said that he was ready for a negative reaction to his performance, but noted that many people who had prejudices against him later abandoned them.

When asked about his gender, Tom replies: “At work I am Frau, at home I am Tom. And I met my friend as a man. ” He and his dancer friend Jacques Patriac have been married for four years.

Let’s figure it out.

While in Paris, I was able to observe in our hotel couples of same-sex marriages. They are sweet and friendly people who take good care of each other. Why does this “non-traditional orientation” arise? Two people of the same sex fell in love with each other, between them the strongest feelings: a mixture of friendship, love, passion.

They are afraid of losing each other. This is not the attraction of physical bodies, but the kinship of souls. Here sex is not even in the first place, as many believe. Their relationship is so strong that they don’t hide it from other people who don’t accept IT.

They live, dissolving in a world incomprehensible to us. And most importantly, they do not harm anyone.

In general, same-sex marriages are less likely to break up than regular marriages. Often the same-sex family adopts abandoned children by people of traditional orientation. Among ordinary people, there are sometimes women who kill their children and throw their bodies into garbage containers.

Remember Andrei Chikatilo, he was called the “Rostov Ripper”, a maniac and a murderer, who has committed 65 murders. He was married and was a “traditional” people.

Citing the above examples of same-sex unions and ordinary people, we conclude that the main thing is what a person’s soul is filled with, what he is, and not who he sleeps with and what his appearance is (with or without a beard). Judge people by their deeds.

“Separating flies from cutlets”

The crowd throws stones at those who are not like everyone else! Persecutions and demonstrations against gays are taking place. Many people for whom pedophiles and gays are one and the same. But it’s like black and white!

Gays and pedophiles are different concepts! Demonstrations are needed in the fight against pedophiles who rape children, not against gays. Mass protests are needed to combat drug addiction and corruption in the country. Demonstrations are needed in the fight against war, the environment and in the protection of animals!

Famous Gays

Observing the history of mankind, it is impossible to eradicate homosexuality. It goes deeper than ancient times … First of all, “different orientations” are feelings between people, so it is useless to suppress feelings, they were, are and will be. Here are some of the names of famous gay men:

  • Socrates;
  • Oscar Wilde;
  • Alexander the Great;
  • Jean Cocteau;
  • Edvard Grieg;
  • Rudolf Nureyev;
  • Elton John;
  • Sergey Diaghilev;
  • George Michael;
  • Marcel Proust;
  • Dolce and Gabana;
  • Pyotr Tchaikovsky;
  • Vitaly Wulf;
  • Freddie Mercury;
  • Jean Mare;
  • And many others ….

All of these famous persons have made a great contribution to the development of world culture, art, literature, politics, philosophy, fashion. But they are not like everyone else!  You need to understand what difference it makes to you with whom they slept. Why would we look under their blanket? This is their personal life. Each of us has the right to privacy!

And in Soviet times, they did not accept and persecuted dudes and punks …

Conchita at Eurovision

Imagine that you only hear the voice of the performer. Perceive by ear, without seeing the one who sings. In such contests, performance is assessed, not appearance. In the performance of the contestant with a beard, everything was in order: a beautiful voice, beautiful music, enchanting special effects, smooth hand movements and no vulgarity.

A performance that deserves a standing ovation. The first impression, of course, is shocking with the unusual appearance of the performer, but this does not give the right to throw stones at him!

Conchita Wurst: Eurovision and interesting facts

Philip Kirkorov urged the public not to condemn the winner. He recalled that this is a song contest, and it doesn’t matter if the artist has a beard or not, a woman or a man.

In addition, Kirkorov noted that he liked the performance of a participant from Austria, and that he considered the winner’s song beautiful. “Do not judge, but you will not be judged,” the artist summed up.

Anfisa Chekhova is outraged that someone is worried about something that is not really a serious problem, such as: Conchita Wurst – Eurovision

“Many are worried in many ways that does not matter! Non-standardness in all its manifestations causes anger and aggression: “Are you not like me? Here in the eye! You have no right to exist if you are not like me! You are not correct, you geek, but I am correct, and I know exactly how it should be! “

Gentlemen, none of us knows how to do it! Each has its own truth! But in my opinion, what’s more important is what a person has inside … “

In this article I am not advocating “non-traditional orientations”, I just need to remind some people about tolerance.
