Concatenate multiple rows in one Excel cell

Let’s say that you have a column, each cell of which contains the names and surnames of people. You need to make sure that they are on different lines. Following this instruction, this can be done easily:

 

  • Select the cell you want to make changes to.

 

  1. Type the text for the first line.
  2. Hold Alt and Enter at the same time to create a new line.

Tip: press this key combination until the mouse cursor is in the desired location.

  1. Enter the text for the second line.
  2. Press Enter to complete the operation.

So, using this instruction, you can always add additional lines to the cell. This will allow you to organize the data and make it easier to read.
