First of all, you need to visit the registry office and issue a baby’s birth certificate. After that, you need to register the baby at the place of residence. In addition, you can find the form on the official website of the organization that you choose, enter all the necessary data at home and bring the ready-made form to the office. This will significantly reduce the processing time.

According to Russian legislation, the compulsory medical insurance policy should be issued within 3 months after the birth of the baby.

Registration of a permanent compulsory medical insurance takes about 30 calendar days. But do not think that at this time the child will not be provided with free medical care, because for this period the baby will be issued a temporary policy. It has the same power as permanent.

What documents need to be collected

  • passport of one of the parents;
  • SNILS of the baby, if any.

Please note that originals are needed, not copies of these certificates. After 30 calendar days, you need to pick up the policy from the company where you issued it. To obtain it, you will still need to bring the original birth certificate of the baby and the parent’s passport. If, for some reason, you can pick up the policy for me yourself, then you can issue a power of attorney for any person.
