Composure is a state expressed by the phrase “everything is under control”, the readiness to act clearly and promptly. Calmness, attentiveness, not a single unnecessary movement, but everything that is needed is done instantly and accurately. Composure is when there is a clear and accurate picture of the next actions in the head and body. If there is no picture — the person is «confused» — does not know what to do.

Composure is mental and physical. Most often, both collections meet together — where the collected body, there is the collected soul. It happens in another way: a collected soul brings up a still broken body. Or a collected body brings up a confused soul.

How to develop composure

You can develop composure from any end: both from the soul and from the body. Receptions:

  • Composure lives in the body: a toned body, the absence of looseness is the first step towards composure. As an option — to do some kind of martial arts, where smartness and attentiveness are always required.
  • Learn to focus and manage attention (see Circles of Attention)
  • Plan situations, set goals, think through your actions a few steps ahead, draw up strategies for behavior. See Organization of time
  • It is good to know what you are going to do, to be a professional in this business, to have well-honed skills.
  • Write Maximum Life.

Chips of composure

There are people who are more collected and less collected, but any of us can suddenly collect ourselves if necessary, and especially if a person knows the tricks of composure — simple tricks that effectively solve the problem. The chips of composure are collected (squinted) eyes, slightly pursed lips, set neck, completed gestures, Dare center, energy of activity, knowledge of the goal.
