Complex lessons with children 1-2 years old at home: topics, exchange of upbringing experience
The complex development of babies at 1-2 years old lies on the shoulders of the parents. At this age, it is important to lay in the child the skills that will be useful to him in the future. Remember toddler development should be comprehensive.
Classes with children at 1-2 years old
It is not necessary to buy expensive educational toys to work with your child. You can use materials at hand. Surely this will interest the child even more. To develop fine motor skills in your hands, use small and bright objects that you have at home. This can be, for example, pebbles for the aquarium, large beads or buttons. It is very important that the child plays such games under the close supervision of his parents, because he can swallow a small object.
First, let the kid put the stones in the glass, help him. This task can be taught to a child from 10 months. At 1,5 years old, start teaching your child to sort objects according to different criteria. For example, ask him to put blue buttons in one glass, yellow buttons in another, and red buttons in a third.
Types and themes of games for toddlers
Here are interesting and useful games for a child under 2 years old:
- Matryoshka. Show your child the matryoshka, shake and rattle it. Take out the second nesting doll, repeat the steps. Then remove the third one. Then show how to assemble matryoshka dolls. Give your kid a nesting doll to study on their own.
- The locomotive. Place the blocks in a row with your child and explain to him that this is a train. Place a small toy on each cube – these are passengers. Ask the child which carriage, which passenger is traveling. Then teach him to make the sound of a train – tu-tuuu.
- Colored cubes. Put some of the cubes in front of the child, and hide the rest. Give the blocks to the child one at a time and ask them to match them by color among those already standing.
- Guess. Hide a small object in your fist, stretch your arms out in front of you, and ask the child to guess which hand the object is in. After that, turn your arms over and open your palms, announcing if the kid guessed right. Children love this guessing game, so you can repeat it many times.
Don’t rush your child during class. Some children need less time, others more. Remember that all babies are different.
Chat with other moms, this tactic of sharing parenting experiences is invaluable! Encourage your children to play together so they can develop different skills and interact with peers.
