 Relaxation. Relaxation techniques are numerous (yoga, meditation, etc.) and have been proven to reduce stress and anxiety in general. They are also effective in people who suffer from anxiety attacks. They associate muscle relaxation with a reduction in the respiratory and cardiac response.6.

Exercise is also effective for generalized anxiety7.

 Coffee (Piper methysticum). Kava is a shrub, member of the pepper tree family, native to the Pacific Islands (Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia, Hawaii). Several studies have shown that kava is effective in treating anxiety, and possibly panic attacks.8.

However, kava-based products can seriously damage the liver, and they are banned in many countries (France, Canada, Switzerland, etc.). On the other hand, they can be found in France in homeopathic form, but the effectiveness is not proven.
