La sage. It would have shown efficacy in the treatment of cough1. Used in syrup or infusion, sage calms the inflammation present in the throat thanks to anti-inflammatory and antiseptic actions.
La marshmallow root. Marshmallow would reduce inflammation in the throat, but few studies2 who have looked into the subject.
Thyme. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, it could be effective in the treatment of cough3.
Honey: it would make the throat less painful.
