In this XVIII edition of the Pincho de Navarra, the organizers of the event, Navarra Hospitality Association, seek to praise the coming of age of the conference in small doses.
Ten days, more than a week, will be those that will occupy the interesting poster of establishments and miniatures, which from next April 8 to 17, will flood the premises of Iruña with Pintxos made with mastery, ingenuity and above all culinary taste.
In the last edition, there were 76 establishments that presented their creations based on local products such as Roncal or Idiazábal cheeses, vegetables from their garden, truffles, mushrooms, etc …
As a great novelty of this edition, it will be the coming-out of the Pintxos for Celiacs, where a third of the elaborations will be suitable for the consumption of those intolerant to gluten.
Pintxos, awards and recognitions.
A new edition of the Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, of the week granted by the Association of hoteliers of Na will take place during the days of celebration of the week of Pintxo.
Along with these awards, we also want to give recognition to Quality and Service in Customer Service, and one of the participating establishments will win this distinction.
For its part, the Gastronomic Society Gazteluleku awards the award for good work in cooking and technological innovation, endorsed by the Public University of Navarra (UPN), which in turn grants and sponsors another of the event’s novelties, which is recognition for Nutrition with the Healthiest Skewer Award.
We do not abandon the mentions and as a culmination, the Navarre Institute of Agrifood Technologies and Infrastructures of the Foral community, will be in charge of flagging the Reyno Gourmet Award.
To finish at a lower level, different sponsors and relevant companies in the community participate in the exhibition naming different versions of awards such as the case of the Martiko Foie Industry with a homonymous award, or the BMW Minipincho, and the unique proposal of Bodegas Marco Real, for the Service and Treatment of Wine, with the launch of an Award for the best Pintxo that is the perfect partner in the pairing of their Private Collection red.
Not only restaurants have awards. Also, those attending the Navarra Pincho Week will be able to participate in the photography contest on Instagram that is organized in collaboration with the Ensanche Commercial Area and thus opt for the vouchers for the Gayarre theater.
