Comic artist Lin Severinsen about pregnancy

Lin Severinsen is an illustrator and cartoonist from Norway. She is a mom of two who is best known for her pregnancy comics.

Lin began drawing comics during her first pregnancy, which was not easy for her. The drawings caused a real stir on the net (more than 150 thousand people were subscribed to the artist’s page on Instagram). And Lin decided to turn her pictures into a book.

– Even at the beginning of the first trimester, I noticed that the media and bloggers all the time cover pregnancy in the best light, not saying a word about the unpleasant moments that a woman in a position may face, says Lin. – Everywhere they talked only about radiant skin and breathing techniques. But what about hellish heartburn, terrible mood swings and the need to go to the toilet every five minutes? Then I armed myself with pencils.

In her comics, the artist humorously reflected the pros and cons of pregnancy. The editorial staff of Woman’s Day offers to scroll through Lin’s funny pictures and find yourself on them. Here we go?
