Just take and erase black dots and acne from your face will not work. According to rumors, even the notorious Hollywood beauties lost in the war with comedones. But you can get rid of imperfections. We’ll tell you how.
What are comedones
Closed (pimples) are cavities in the thickness of the skin filled with dead cells and the secretion of the sebaceous gland. Inflamed, they turn red, and then turn into painful pustules filled with pus.
The test will help you learn how to care for problem skin.
Areas of comedones on the face
Their favorite place is the T-zone: here the oiliest skin. In addition, the nose, forehead and chin are most affected by the sun, wind and pollution. But comedones can also appear on the cheeks, neck, and hairline, and are thought to signal a particular problem in the body.
This is how comedones are formed, which spoil our lives so much.
In Chinese folk medicine, there “acne map”. If you believe her:
black dots or subcutaneous acne on the forehead “scream” about problems in the small intestine;
on the temples – indicate problems with the bladder;
along the eyebrows – with a heart;
on the bridge of the nose – with the liver;
under the eyes – with kidneys;
on the nose – with the pancreas;
on the cheeks – with the stomach;
on the chin – with the organs of the small pelvis.

Reasons for the formation of comedones on the face
Diseases of the internal organs – this is one of the causes of comedones. But there are others.
Hormonal Reorganization – we already mentioned it when we talked about teenagers and pregnant women. But it also occurs during menopause, so women 45+ have every chance to “remember youth”, once seeing ugly rashes in the mirror.
Unbalanced nutrition – excess in the diet of sweet, fatty, salty and smoked, alcohol and coffee abuse. As a result, the sebaceous glands activate their work, open comedones are formed. The first piece of advice given by dermatologists is: “Eat your diet.”
The habit of touching the face — we rub our foreheads, scratch our noses, and touch our chins dozens of times a day, and our hands are not always clean. This bad habit leads to inflammation and the formation of comedones.
When to See a Doctor for Treatment
If blackheads and subcutaneous acne bother you, it makes sense to consult a dermatologist. And he will probably refer you to other specialized specialists – a gastroenterologist or an endocrinologist.
What salon procedures will help against comedones
This problem is common, and beauty salons and clinics have long learned to deal with it. All of these methods are quite effective.
Do you have comedones? Seek help from a specialist.
Ultrasonic cleaning
Perhaps the most pleasant and painless procedure aimed at removing comedones. Pollution is removed from the pores with a special spatula, which affects the skin with ultrasound.
Mechanical cleaning
Not pleasant ones. The skin is steamed, and then the pores are cleaned with a spoon of uno. Pretty painful manipulation.
Vacuum cleaning
During vacuum cleaning of the face, sebum and impurities are sucked out of the pores by a special vacuum nozzle.
Atraumatic cleaning
Suitable for those who cannot tolerate pain. Means are applied to the face that open the pores and “expel” impurities outward.
get sick – moreover, even with the most banal cold;
suffer from dermatitis.
If there is an allergy, it must also be reported to a specialist.
Is it possible to get rid of comedones at home
Closed comedones, small pimples with white heads, should not be squeezed out at all! Yet the most reliable way to get rid of comedones at home is to properly care for problem skin. It is possible to prevent or minimize their appearance with the help of cosmetics of the appropriate purpose.

Prevention of acne
Take good care of your skin. Follow a daily ritual of cleansing and moisturizing with products suitable for your skin type.
Observe hygiene. For some reason, some people forget that before cleaning their face, you need to wash your hands. Others do not wash off makeup at night, others share powder or mascara with a sister or girlfriend. And this should not be done!
Do not abuse hair styling products. We won’t talk about the need to wash your hair as it gets dirty – everyone already knows this. But about the fact that gels and mousses can get on the skin and clog pores, we recall. Use them carefully, especially if you have blackheads on your forehead.
Avoid direct sunlight. They can also provoke the appearance of comedones. If you will be exposed to the sun for a long time, wear a wide-brimmed hat and/or apply a non-porous sunscreen.
Follow nutrition. Drink more water – up to 6-8 glasses a day. Do not forget about vegetables, fruits, whole grains, unrefined oils and lean protein. Some dermatologists recommend additional vitamins A, E and zinc supplements – check with your doctor if you need to do this. Stay away from sugary, salty and overly fatty foods – and limit your intake of dairy products. There are studies showing that due to the excess hormones they contain, milk, sour cream and cottage cheese can provoke the formation of acne.
