Dry, colored, with split ends, quickly losing its appearance … and the hair can be obstinate. But we know, the main thing is to find the right approach! And of course, the right tools.
Dyed hair has lost color, looks dry and lifeless
Often, this is the result of home staining. Many dyes contain large amounts of ammonia and therefore damage hair. Hair that is subject to frequent discoloration also suffers. Under the influence of chemistry, very soon they begin to thin out and what is the worst thing is to get confused. If you look at such hair under a microscope, you can see that these are exposed scales clinging to each other. What to do?
1. Smooth the hair structure
In the salons, you will be offered to undergo a course of procedures for treatment and hair restoration. In home care, the application of a mask should become a mandatory ritual. Use products with proteins, amino acids and natural plant extracts. Apply the mask once a week, apply it to damp hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. At the beginning of the treatment, you can put on a shower cap on top, in the warmth the hair will open up the scales faster and receive nutrients. It will not be superfluous to use various oils (palm, burdock), apply them an hour before washing your hair, just do not rub into the scalp. Finish any ritual, as usual, with a conditioner.
2. Save color
While you are treating, there is time to select a range of remedies for
Hair quickly loses its appearance, begins to shine
It’s all about the work of the sebaceous glands. They provide smoothness and shine to hair. But as a result of stress, as a result of taking medications (in particular, antibiotics) and in case of improper care, the glands turn into real workaholics. They start to produce “sebium” incessantly, from which the hair becomes oily. Short ones lose their appearance by the end of the day, long hair can hardly maintain freshness for a day. What to do?
Rebalance the scalp
Start by choosing a special shampoo that, due to certain ingredients (extracts of sabal palm, nettle, pumpkin, copper salts, zinc, etc.), will block the receptors and thereby reduce the working enthusiasm of the sebaceous glands. If your hair is not dyed with chemical dyes, then shampoos with alumina are perfect.
Try to wash your hair with warm, even cool, water. Apply masks and conditioners gently from the ends of the hair to the middle. For styling products, give preference to those products that can be sprayed onto the hair without touching the scalp.
Hair is dry, straw-like and even during styling, the ends of the hair are not smoothed
This is a consequence of daily styling with hair dryers, tongs and irons. High temperatures deprive hair not only of moisture, but also of natural defenses. Bad combs and hard water also spoil the structure. What to do?
If the ends of your hair have become unusable, do not regret, cut them off. And try to conserve the rest of your hair, always use heat protection sprays when styling. Choose deeply moisturizing shampoos and conditioners for your basic care.
The cardinal solution to the problem can be the lamination procedure, it envelops each hair with the thinnest transparent film that will protect the hair from high temperatures and give the hair a luxurious shine and volume. Lamination can be done every 3-4 weeks.
