Classic coffee syrup recipe

Ingredients

  1. Ground coffee – 4 tbsp. l.

  2. Sugars – 200 g

  3. Water – 400 ml

Method of preparation

  1. Pour 4 tablespoons of ground coffee into the pan, pour in 400 ml of water, mix thoroughly and send to the fire.

  2. Bring the coffee to a boil and simmer over medium heat for a couple of minutes.

  3. Turn off and let stand for a while so that the sediment settles.

  4. Carefully pour the finished mixture into a bowl so that the thick remains at the bottom of the pan.

  5. Pour 200 grams of sugar into a saucepan with a thick bottom, put on a small fire and, without stirring, bring the sugar to a caramelized state.

  6. Pour in the coffee and, stirring occasionally, boil over medium heat until the consistency of the syrup is thick, this will take about 20-25 minutes.

  7. Readiness can be determined by dropping a drop into water, if it remains a drop and does not spread, then the syrup is ready.

  8. We send the finished syrup to the refrigerator, the guaranteed shelf life is 2 weeks.
