Cocktail “Tsunami” – puff shot (in a glass) based on tequila with a strength of 19 degrees with a sweet and sour taste and notes of citrus in the aftertaste. The place of origin and the author of the recipe are unknown. Presumably, the cocktail was invented in Russia at the end of the XNUMXth century, when shots came into fashion. In the West, they learned about the drink from the Russians. The meaning of the name can only be guessed at.
The main difficulty in making a Tsunami cocktail is to lay the layers correctly so that they do not mix. This can be done according to the instructions on how to cook shots with a bar spoon or on the blade of a knife. Since this recipe does not use ice, it is best to add all ingredients chilled.
Composition and proportions:
- silver tequila – 20 ml;
- blue curacao liqueur – 10 ml;
- lemon juice – 10 ml;
- sugar syrup (water and sugar in equal parts) – 10 ml;
- tobasco sauce – 2 drops.
