Cocktail Brain tumor – a pleasant taste with a formidable name

It is believed that this cocktail was invented in the 50s of the last century by an American bartender who got bored after the bar closed. Having mixed all the available ingredients, he was surprised by the taste of the resulting drink and included it in the restaurant’s menu. We will consider how to prepare a brain tumor cocktail at home. Difficulty arises when laying layers.

Classic composition and proportions:

  • peach liqueur (white vermouth) – 20 ml;
  • Grenadine syrup – 15 ml;
  • vodka (sambuca) – 10 ml;
  • Baileys liqueur – 10 ml.

Cocktail recipe “Brain Tumor”

1. Pour peach liqueur or white vermouth into a 60-70 ml (shot) glass, for example, Martini Bianco.

2. Add Baileys liqueur in a thin stream. To make the layer even, Baileys is poured into a glass through a candy on a stick.

3. Add pomegranate syrup Grenadine. Thanks to the syrup, the cocktail acquires a bright red color, and Baileys sinks to the bottom, imitating the brain convolutions.

4. Gently pour in the vodka with the last layer.

Cocktail “Brain Tumor” is ready. It is served with a straw, starting to drink from the bottom layer. Another option is to knock over the stack in one gulp.
