Coca-Cola is preparing to release its first alcoholic beverage

Not so long ago, we told our readers that Coca- released 4 new flavors – for creating cocktails based on dark alcoholic beverages such as whiskey and rum.

And now – a new step, The Wall Street Journal reported that the Coca-Cola company plans to start selling its first alcoholic beverage in Japan in the fall. In the beginning, of course, the drink will be tested and, if successful, in supermarkets in Japan it will be possible to find an alcoholic drink from a company that until then had firmly adhered to the line of purely non-alcoholic products.

The drink, which Coca-Cola plans to release, is a variation of Japan’s popular Chuhai, a mix of a local alcoholic beverage chain and soda water with fruit flavors.

It will be named -Do and is available only with lemon flavor, strength – from 3% to 7%.

Recall that this is the first alcoholic drink that Coca-Cola has released in 133 years of the company’s existence.
