Coagulogram: norm and interpretation of results

A coagulogram is a complex hematological analysis aimed at assessing the coagulation abilities of the blood. Blood for a coagulogram must be taken without fail if there are serious diseases of the heart and blood vessels or surgery is planned. Also, a coagulogram is performed every trimester for pregnant women.

This analysis has another name – hemostasiogram. The basic coagulogram is prescribed at the first stage of diagnosis. If the doctor sees any deviation from the established norms, he refers the patient to an extended study. It allows you to assess the existing violations, not only qualitatively, but also quantitatively.
