Homemade cleaner
Mix three-fourths a cup of baking soda and a quarter cup of water to create a paste for cleaning sinks, bathtubs, toilets, ceramics, aluminum, chrome, and stainless steel. You can also polish silver with it.
Alternatively, mix a quarter cup of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent, and enough white vinegar to create a creamy texture. You can also add lemon juice. Then the paste will have a fresh, clean smell.
Lemon juice
Lemon paste can be used to polish copper and brass items. Lemon juice also dissolves hard water stains and soap residue.
Pipe cleaner
Mix a quarter of baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar. It clears sewage pipes and siphons. Rinse with hot water. Use weekly to prevent clogging. It also eliminates bad odors.
Floor cleaner
Add a quarter cup of vinegar to a bucket of warm water. You can safely clean tiles or slate floor with this agent. Do not use it on marble or hardwood.
