Three differences between classic kitchens

1. Scandinavian restraint

These headsets are the best deal for small spaces. Most often they find themselves in a subsection of catalogs called “modern”. A distinctive feature of “Scandinavian” kitchens is a discreet solution of the facades, which have a rectangular shape, and the blind doors are profiled along the perimeter. Additional vertical “ruling” is not uncommon. As for glass, they often take a material that has undergone sandblasting, that is, acquired a relative opacity. 3. It is difficult to talk about finishing the facades of “Scandinavian” kitchens, since completely different materials can be used for decoration. Among other options, natural wood veneer is widespread, with which facades are pasted on both sides, as well as several layers of glossy or matte enamel.

Modern style

The main features of such headsets are functionality and laconic performance. Moreover, one logically follows from the other. For example, if the doors operate on the “push-open” principle, then, of course, there are no handles on them. Or another example: the base is available only when necessary. Suppose you need to hide communications or the fact that a dishwasher or washing machine is built into the base cabinet. In this case, the base is to be. Futurism

It makes sense to include a fairly wide range of headsets among futuristic kitchens. And although they are usually included in the subsection “modern”, it is obvious that such models do not belong there. The reasons why they stand out from the general row can be completely different. The difference between futuristic kitchens

It is simply impossible to talk about any general rules. After all, the main thing in these kitchens is the developer’s idea. For example, the frame is conceived to look like coral, which means that acrylic stone will be the only suitable material for its manufacture. If the headset has more familiar shapes, then, most likely, its facades will be made of MDF or chipboard. However, further it comes to finishing options, and with them the situation is even more confusing. The manufacturer owns all existing technologies and disposes of them at its own discretion. For example, she veneers the same slab on both sides with a veneer of a rare, if not exotic wood species, and then covers it with a thick layer of very shiny varnish. Or he takes a veneer of quite ordinary oak and tints it to the point of being completely unrecognizable. The “top” of the resulting finish is again a thick layer of glossy varnish. And here is another example, by the way, the most budgetary of those already given: you can take the most ordinary facades, only of different colors and shapes, and place them in any order.
