Classic milk liqueur

Homemade milk liqueurs are women’s spirits: they have a soft creamy taste, pleasant aroma, are easy to drink and are stored in the refrigerator for a long time. But the main advantage is the ease of preparation. We will consider a recipe for a liqueur with milk called “Ladies’ Cognac”. It takes no more than 10 minutes to make this drink.

As an alcohol base, instead of cognac, you can use good store-bought vodka or alcohol diluted to 40-45 degrees, the taste will hardly change. But the choice of milk should be approached more carefully – I advise you to take a pair of high fat content.

Attention! Even slightly sour milk will curdle immediately, spoiling the entire drink.

Ingredients:

  • cognac (vodka, alcohol) – 0,5 liters;
  • fresh milk – 0,6 liters;
  • sugar – 450 gram;
  • lemon – 1 half (or a quarter of an orange);
  • vanilla sugar – 10 grams (optional).

milk liqueur recipe

1. Pour milk, cognac (vodka) into a two-liter jar or glass bottle (the optimal volume of the container, subject to the indicated proportions) and add sugar.

2. Half of a lemon washed in hot water and wiped dry (a quarter of an orange), without peeling, cut into small slices and put into a container with the seeds.

3. Add vanilla sugar, mix.

4. Close the lid tightly. Keep 11 days in a dark place at room temperature. Shake twice a day (morning and evening).

5. Strain the finished milk liquor through a sieve or cheesecloth to get rid of sediment.

6. Pour the drink into a bottle and leave for a day in the refrigerator to stabilize the taste. As an appetizer, sweet pastries or fruits are perfect. Shelf life (necessarily in the refrigerator) – up to six months. Fortress – 13-14%.
