Classes in the senior group of kindergarten: child development, complex classes

Before a child enters school, the task of preschool institutions is to broaden his horizons and ideas about the world around him as much as possible. Classes in the senior group of the kindergarten are aimed at obtaining elementary mathematical knowledge by children, the formation of creative abilities, and attraction to physical activity in a playful way.

Child development with role-playing games

Such classes help to strengthen knowledge about shapes, colors, different sizes of objects and teach them to apply them in practice. It is also an excellent tool for developing a child’s communication skills, his ability to interact with other children and participate in some common cause. This gives high school attendance a great advantage over homeschooling and prepares the child for the next stage and older life in school.

Classes in the senior group of the kindergarten are built in an educational and playful way

In the course of developing games, children imagine a particular situation, learn to exist in it. They try on different roles. And often everyone himself can choose who he will be – a doctor, patient, hairdresser or mother.

Toys play an important role here. In the process of playing, children, through animating bunnies and bears, learn to behave in a certain situation, invented according to the plot. These can be ordinary plush animals or a puppet theater, toys, hands.

The task of the educator is to prepare the necessary set of toys and objects for simulating certain conditions, for example, for playing in a hospital. It is necessary to create a comfortable play environment and an atmosphere that will captivate children and motivate them to actively participate in the game.

Complex lessons for the older group

These developmental exercises help you apply all the skills you have learned in one game. For example, children are encouraged to study a new bird – the sparrow. During the lesson, they perform a combination of various actions:

  • Physical: children run, imitating birds flying into nests.
  • Creative: Kids draw or paint blanks with bird outlines on sheets of paper.
  • They train reading and memorization skills – they read poems on the topic and memorize short passages. Retell stories read earlier.
  • They listen to music and sing. An audio recording of a sparrow chirping may be presented in the lesson. Children memorize and try to repeat these sounds.

The daily routine of the pupils of the senior group differs from the rest, it is specially adapted to their curriculum. More time is given to classes, they are mainly aimed at developing the child’s mental and creative abilities.

The kid comes to school prepared, he more easily perceives and understands new information, which has a positive effect on academic performance.
