Ciprinol – when to use? Side effects when dosing Ciprinol

Ciprinol 500 is used to treat bacterial infections. It is especially recommended for infections caused by gram-negative bacteria. It is available by prescription in the form of 250 and 500 mg film-coated tablets. The preparation is taken orally.

Action

Ciprinol contains the active ingredient ciprofloxacin, which inhibits the activity of bacterial enzymes. As a result, the bacterial DNA is not replicated, which stops the division of the bacterial cell and, consequently, the death of microorganisms. Ciprinol is primarily active against gram-negative bacteria. The active substance of the drug is rapidly absorbed and its maximum concentration in plasma is reached 1-2 hours after application. The concentration of the active substance in some tissues may exceed the plasma level. Ciprofloxacin is excreted by the kidneys. The preparation has positive feedback among patients.
