Memorial Day of St. Leonty, Canonarch of the Caves
An ecclesiastical memory of Saint Leonty, who, as a young man, was tonsured in the Kiev-Pechersk monastery. The monk was known for his beautiful voice, therefore, having learned to read and write, he began to fulfill the obedience of a canonarch.
Memorial Day of the Martyrs Leontius, Hypatius and Theodulus
Date dedicated to three Roman soldiers. Leontius was a commander in the imperial troops of the city of Tripoli. He preached the word of God, was famous for his piety and special courage. This did not please the local authorities. Hypatia sent the Roman senator Andrian to find Leontius in order to sentence him to death for his faith. On the way, Hypatius saw in a dream an angel calling for love for the Savior. He was imbued and, abandoning the persecution, together with his friend Theodulus, went to Tripoli in search of Leontius, in order to carry the Christian faith together.

Memorial Day of the Apostle Judas Jacoblev

Memorial Day of the Martyr Agrippina of Rome

Commemoration of the founder of the monastery on the shores of Dymskoye Lake, in the vicinity of Tikhvin, where the Reverend spent a charitable and pious life.
Memorial Day of the Righteous Youths Jacob and John Menyuzhsky
On July 7, believers honor the memory of James and John, children from a believing family. According to legend, the boys died at the age of 3 and 5 years. After the burial, the children’s coffins were found on a small lake. They were taken out into the wasteland and a chapel was erected over them. Today, the relics of the saints rest in the Trinity Church in the village of Menyusha. They are believed to have miraculous powers.

Memorial Day of the Blessed Princes Peter and Fevronia
This holiday is known not only by deeply religious people, but also by wider circles. On July 8, the memory of the spouses Peter and Fevronia is honored, who are considered an example of marital love and fidelity. According to church writing, Prince Peter fell ill with leprosy, and somehow saw in a dream that a peasant woman named Fevronia would save him. Later, the prince really met the girl and fell in love with her. After becoming monks, they begged God to die at the same time. Later it happened: they died on the same day and hour. Uncovering the relics of St. Tikhon Lukhovsky

On this day, believers remember the transfer of the relics of two saints, Cyrus and John. This happened in Egypt in 412.
Cyrus was a wandering physician, and John became his follower and true friend. Both were tortured and then executed. The relics of the saints were later transferred from Egypt to Rome, and from there to Germany.
Memorial Day of the Icon of the Mother of God “Three Hands”
Believers recall church history that occurred during the time of iconoclasm in the 11th century. For the veneration of icons, the Caliph of Damascus ordered that John’s hand be cut off and hung in the marketplace. After the execution of the sentence, John took his severed hand and prayed for a long time before the icon of the Mother of God. At night, the Mother of God appeared to him in a dream and said that she would fulfill his request. The next morning, John discovered that the hand was unharmed; in gratitude, he attached a silver hand to the icon. The celebration takes place twice – on July 25 and July XNUMX.
