Uncovering the relics of the miracle worker Seraphim of Sarov
According to church history, for his labors he received from God the gift of miracles, foresight and healing. At the request of Emperor Nicholas II of Our Country, the Orthodox Church elevated Seraphim of Sarov to the rank of reverend. The holy relics are in the Seraphim-Diveevo Monastery.
Memorial Day of St. Macrina of Cappadocia
At birth, the girl was named Thekla, and her relatives called her Makrina – in honor of the Christian grandmother. Early widowed, she took the veil as a nun. She lived in a nunnery with her mother, where she remained until her death.
Memorial Day of the Blessed Prince Roman of Ryazan

Uncovering the relics of Abbot Athanasius of Brest
In 1627, Athanasius became a monk, and later received the appointment of hegumen of the Brest Monastery. The MonkMartyr Athanasius of Brest fought relentlessly for the rights of the Orthodox brotherhood. By refusing to renounce his faith, he doomed himself to a painful death.

Transfer of the relics of Hieromartyr Bishop Phocas of Sinop
Phocas of Sinop converted many pagans to the Orthodox faith. During the attacks on the Christian people, they were forced to renounce God and faith. Refusing to give up his principles, he was martyred. His relics were transferred to Constantinople in 404.

Canon to the holy wives Olympias of Constantinople and St. Eupraxia of Constantinople, Tavenna
Saint Eupraxia chose serving the Lord as her life goal. She remained in the monastery from the age of seven, refusing earthly goods. She generously distributed her inherited wealth to those in need, and also provided assistance to churches and monasteries.
Olympias was born into a noble family, later she believed in God. She endured much suffering and died in captivity for her devotion to John Chrysostom.
Memorial Day of St. Macarius Zheltovodsky, Unzhensky
In his youth, he left his parents and became a monk of the Nizhny Novgorod Caves monastery. He did not give himself any indulgences, having renounced secular joys, and with all his fervor he devoted himself to God’s service.

Memorial Day of Hieromartyrs Hermipp, Yermolai and Hermocrates, presbyters
Survived after the mass burning of Christians at the behest of Emperor Maximilian in 303. In that tragedy, 20 believers died.

Memorial Day of Blessed Nikolai Kochanov, Novgorodsky, Christ for the Holy Fool
He chose the life of a holy fool, for which he often suffered beatings. According to legend, he was awarded God’s gift of wonderworking and clairvoyance.
Memorial Day of St. Metropolitan Joasaph of Moscow
He was abbot at the Sergius Lavra. He baptized the future Ivan the Terrible.
Memorial Day of the Monk Abbess Anfisa of Mantinea

This church holiday was established by the prince Andrei Bogolyubsky. During the battles with the Bulgars, the army carried in front the icon of the Mother of God and the Holy Cross of Christ. According to the stories, during the battle, a bright light emanated from the icon and the Cross. The army won, and this holiday appeared in memory of the incredible miracle.
In the people, he is better known as the Honey Savior. It is believed that it is on this day that honey can be harvested, since it is already fully ripe. People illuminate honey in church to enhance its healing properties and protect the family from disease.
